Latin Roots

Wow! We have been very absent from our class blog. Our focus has been on other things, but we want to begin sharing again. We have been learning Latin root words by playing Rummy Roots and using a Word Roots workbook. Here are some of our vocabulary terms.

Favorite Math Links?

Our school parent night is in early September, and I am looking forward to sharing how students from other states and countries can learn together through classroom blogs.  Would you help me by sharing a favorite math website?

What is your favorite maths site? We need sites to help us practice facts and play number games.

If your classroom votes on a favorite, would you tell us how many students chose the one you are sharing?

(As you can see from the Pages above, I’m gathering buttons for my Daily 5 Math Symbaloo. The Daily 5 Literacy one is shaping up nicely, but the Math one needs your help. Information on Daily 5 Math in the classroom can be found here.)

Coming Soon!
